How this works
API Hub loads the entire public-apis directory — 52 categories and 2,146 entries — directly in your browser, with no backend.
Every entry shows its Auth (none, API key, or OAuth), HTTPS support, and CORS status as colour-coded badges, plus a short English description from the source listing. You can browse by category, search across names and descriptions, and stack all three filters together.
The Test Console is pure client-side: it uses your browser’s fetch() to call the endpoint you choose and shows the HTTP status, elapsed time, and response body (pretty-printed JSON when possible, truncated beyond 64 KB). APIs that block cross-origin browser calls (CORS = No) can’t be tested this way and must be called from a server.
