Six product categories. Pick one to see every recall in that group.
Why categories matter
Different agencies and different safety rules apply to different kinds of products, so grouping recalls by category makes them easier to scan.
Automotive recalls, for example, are typically handled through vehicle-safety channels, while children’s products and household goods follow consumer-product rules, and packaged food recalls are driven by allergen and contamination issues. Knowing which bucket a product falls into helps you find the right notices — and the right agency to contact.
Each category card shows how many recall entries it currently contains. Clicking a card opens the home lookup tool already filtered to that category, where you can then narrow further by status or search term. This is a demonstration database, so the counts reflect synthetic examples rather than a live record of real recalls.
For a chronological view of everything, see the latest recalls timeline, or use the recall search to learn which agencies oversee which products.
