Reading this table

Each row is a directional route between two airports (for example, JFK → LAX). The on-time rate is the share of flights on that route that arrive within the industry’s reporting window, the average delay is in minutes, the cancellation rate is the share of scheduled flights that were cancelled, and daily flights is the typical number of scheduled departures per day in this sample.

Click a column header to sort. Sorting by on-time rate descending shows the most punctual routes first, while sorting by average delay descending surfaces the routes where flights lose the most time. Because the data is directional, JFK → LAX and LAX → JFK appear as separate rows with their own figures.

For a single airport’s overall figures, see the airports table, or use the home lookup to query any pair of airports.
